History.
Dylan was born the second child into the small Nichols family that resided in Dearborn, Michigan. His father, Christopher worked at the Ford Motor Company headquarters and His mother, Kristen was a hair stylist. When Dylan was three the two of them split up and moved their own separate ways, Christopher taking the boys, and Kristen taking to girls, since they saw it as fair that way. Kristen and his sisters moved down to Asheville, North Carolina where she still pursued her career with hair. Dylan would spend the summers there, where he despised the small down and became very annoyed by the fact that everything had to revolve around God in some way or another. When Dylan was twelve his father was arrested for fraud and he and his brother were sent to live in Asheville with his mother, for the time being.
Once he lived in Asheville, he began befriending the neighborhood kids that he would play with in the summertime. Glad that he at least had them to start school off. Starting middle school that fall he was quite shy about being the new kid but quickly breaking out of his shell when he joined the soccer team. Though he wasn't much into sports his mothers felt like it would be a good idea to get him involved with sports for more of a social experience. He agreed since it never looked bad on an college application to have sports and other activities on there. He continued through out high school with added, student counsel, science club, and a few more activities.
Of course, with high school there is more experiences outside of what you did in the school like learning how to drive, your first love, your first heartbreak, staying out past curfew just because you can. Frank experienced every one of them. Though he moved through relationships with girls he always had his eye on one that seemed to not really be that interested in him, or so he thought. She was the one that broke his heart when she rejected his first kiss, though he always justified it as she turned to look at something and didn't know what he was doing (which was probably the truth.) Though he had never really told her how he felt through out all of high school.
Getting accepted into college at the University of North Carolina, it was a new start for him, everything about him most people didn't know and he had a chance to start over, even though he really didn't need to start over in the first place. Little did he know that the crush that broke his heart would be there as well, taunting him in his own private way. He has even went out of his way to avoid her at times, now he just has to wait for the moment she approaches him or they run head on into one another. When they did it was something for the best of their relationship, they began dating officially. recently, they both dropped out of school and moved to Pittsburgh to pursue their life with the job offer Kayleigh took.
Personality.
Dylan, at times can become very closed off around people. He builds walls that only people that gain his trust can really break down. Mostly about his personal life which he refuses to talk about. With more simple of conversations he will not close off only give simple short responses relating on how he feels at the moment. He's never been a great conversationalist face to face. Though behind a phone or computer it somehow gives him more of a confidence about the things he says and does, almost making him feel anonymous to the person he is talking to.
He is hardworking and studies hard for the degree he is getting even though he doesn't let it rule his life, he just has a respect about himself that he worked for the grades he is getting. He attends some parties though he never stays long enough to get completely hammered unless the occasion calls for it. He's never been one to hold alcohol very well. The next morning he would definitely be hungover.
